Class: The Poe Box with Nancy Kreischer

Join Nancy K. Saturday and create another wonderful Altoid Tin project.  This time she gives this humble item the Edgar Allen Poe treatment complete with an accordian book housed inside.    Spectacular distressing turns this mini art piece into something special and macabre.  You won't want to miss this class!

Class: Compendium of Spells with Liane Ceglar








Join Liane Ceglar Saturday and create an exquisitely constructed star book filled to the brim with pages, and pockets, and tags, oh my!  Paper engineering at its finest, this book has been beautifully put together and each page is a work of art.  A perfect project to usher in Halloween!

Class: Witch's Dance Theater with Cheryl Thorpe




Are you the type who likes to create a scene and thrives on drama?  Then join Cheryl Thorpe this Saturday and tap into your inner witch for a bit of fantastical theatrics.  A mesmerizing enchantress dons an elaborate outfit whose bouffant skirt provides the stage for a bewitching scene featuring lovely airborne ladies, dancing spiders and lots of glitter!  A dazzling Halloween addition for your home that you will undoubtedly want to display all year long!

Class: Halloween Cards with Cheryl Valadez





Join me Saturday afternoon and we'll have a bit of Halloween fun with a couple of fabulous Stampendous images that celebrate this haunting season.  The first card features a beautiful image that we'll make sparkle with help from our Copic markers.  We'll also play with some Sticky Back Canvas to create a fun skull embelly.  The second one will wow the recipient with vibrant colors simply achieved by using Distress Ink pads and water.  I'll also have the Vagabond on hand so we can add some textured panels to our cards.  Layers of details make these cards special!

Add a Vintage Photo or Gathered Twigs Distress Ink pad to your class kit and have plenty of tape runner on hand.

Class: Halloween Necklace with Cheryl Thorpe




Join Cheryl T. this Saturday and create a one of kind Halloween necklace sure to wow your friends.  The intricate layout and design of this wonderful piece showcases the beautiful and unique collection of beads that Cheryl will be sharing with you.  A fun ribbon wrapped chain brings it all together.  You'll no doubt enjoy donning this lovely necklace during the Fall season, but something tells me that you'll want to wear it all year long ;D

Bring your class kit, but add your jewelers' tools, especially the various pliers.

Class: Altered Books, Part 1, Getting Started with Sue Rosenberg




Join Sue R. Friday morning for the first class in a 4-part series (to take place over the course of 4-months) featuring techniques for creating altered books.  During Friday's session she will take you through the first stages of altering an old book, which she will supply.  She'll show you how to removed pages, adhere pages, and even walk you through the first 2-page spread.  

Be sure to bring your class kit, plus an X-Acto knife, and any papers or ephemera you would like to use.  Sue will have a stash of papers and ephemera on hand, but feel free to make this book your own using items that speak to you.  

Future sessions during this ongoing workshop will cover additional altered book techniques that you will surely use again and again.

Class: Halloween Collage Cards with Caroline Lawson



Take a walk on the dark side with Caroline Lawson this Saturday and create 2 adorable Halloween cards.  Caroline uses her trademark collage skills to build layers of detail that come together to form a couple of fabulous Halloween scenes.  Better get started on those spooky fall projects because it's just around the corner!

Class: Ladies Diary with Nancy Kreischer





Join Nancy K. this Friday and create something truly beautiful and unique.  What a fun and fabulous way to upcycle a simple and unassuming Altoid tin into a lovely keepsake.  The lid is transformed with the addition of delicate, feminine images from the Graphic 45 line, Ladies Diary.  Open the tin and a beautiful diorama unfolds transporting you back to a simpler, more elegant time.  Add a pad of the Graphic 45 Ladies Diary paper to your class kit and Nancy will supply the tins and additional decorative accouterment.

Class: Ghoul Light with Arley Berryhill


If you've ever taken a class with Arley, you already know he is a masterful instructor.  Join him Saturday and create a spooky project perfect for this time of year.  This creepy ghoul is cloaked in burlap and wielding a wax enclosed battery operated tea light.  A row of these along the windowsill or across the mantel will put you, and all your houseguests, in the Halloween spirit.  You might even want to make a few extra to gift to the special Halloween fanatics in your life.  

Bring your basic class kit, but add the following items if you have them on hand:
  • thread scissors
  • acrylic paints (white, cream, yellow, black)
  • small detail paint brushes
  • water cup
  • long (1 1/2" to 2") straight pens (like quilter's pins)
  • foil (for your work surface)
  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
