Class: Secret Garden Cards with Caroline Lawson
Graphic 45 has a marvelous new series The Secret Garden. These pages are filled with lovely pastel flowers and backgrounds. These pastels are NOT insipid fades; they are full of color and life. Caroline has done collages bringing images together to “tell a Story”. Scissors and adhesives are a must… plus a love of “fussy cutting”.

Class: It Takes a Village with Sue Rosenberg
Join Sue R. Saturday morning and create a village! This fabulous mini vignette consists of 3 houses that fit into slots on a platform. You'll work with Sue to assemble, paint, collage, and embellish your village, bringing it to life right in front of your eyes! Sue will supply everything, but feel free to bring your own decorative papers, collage items, photos, printed quotes, poetry pages, etc. Sign up quick as space is limited!

It's a BIG weekend for China Phoenix 2!

Stampers, There are two classes following the convention that take advantage of out-of-town talent AND give you two more shopping opportunities. (You don't have to take a class to visit any of the three trunk shows!)
LOST COAST DESIGNS TRUNK SHOW: March 11: 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

ATC Dolly: Linda Malcom: Monday, March 11: 10 AM- 4 PM..................................$35.00
Linda loves Albuquerque, New Mexico stampers, and visiting with CP2 customers. To that end, she is offering this class that you can make your own. Come for an hour or two, come for the day! She's bringing the ATC boxes for the body and all sorts of things for the appendages. You'll need your tools and various types of adhesives. If you want your dolly to be the Stitchery Princess (for example), you might bring ephemera related to sewing - get the picture. I hope to see you Monday; there are class spaces available. As you probably know by now, fun follows Linda like a Shadow!

Don't miss this class!Darlene and Picasso are the owners of Chicago's Stampland. This is the first time they've come to the Albuquerque Convention and we want them to return! I'd love to send you to their website, but unfortunately it's down with a virus. They have numerous classic images - from beautiful ladies to Catrina.
This is a Techniques Workshop; this is not intended to be a class of making two or three cards - this is to get you thinking and using your stamps and tools in a new way.
Several of you have asked for more info on Mary Jo McGraw's class on Friday. It starts at 10 AM, costs $45.00, and goes to the end of the day or you throw in the towel. You should bring a book to use for an altered book (remember that there are some freebies in the recycle baskets), a journal (she recommends one from Strathmore), your regular class kit, and colored sharpies or Copics if you have them. She's bringing Pan Pastels and plenty of other goodies!
On your visit to CP2, remember to check out the up-coming class samples, especially those on Friday and Saturday, the 15 &16.

Class: Calendar Book with Rhenea Yontz
Spend 2 Fridays with Rhenea and create 12-months of calendar pages to keep you organized throughout the year! You'll never risk forgetting another birthday, anniversary, or other important recurring date by keeping track of them with this wonderful calendar book. You'll need 2 pads of the Graphic 45 Place in Time 12 x 12 papers, but Rhenea will provide the inspiration, sample, various embellishments, cover materials, wire, and the use of her Bind It All.

Class: Love Canvas with Cheryl Valadez
Join me this Saturday and I'll show you how to create this fun and quirky canvas. We'll play with paints, inks, and Mod Podge so don't wear anything fancy!
Please add the following tools to your class kit: a variety of paint brushes (foam, detail, flat, etc.), a water cup, a Gathered Twigs or Vintage Photo Distress Ink pad, a foam applicator, tweezers, and Fabric Fusion or FabriTac adhesive.

Class: Letter of Love with Cheryl Thorpe

Class: Steampunk Shoes with Caroline Lawson
A girl can NEVER have too many shoes! Why not join Caroline Friday and add to your own exquisite shoe collection by creating a couple of Steampunk themed cards that even the Wizard of Oz would be impressed with. You'll be embossing, glittering, coloring, cutting...all the things that make cardmaking fun!
Caroline recommends adding the following items to your class kit: a Versamark pad, black embossing powder, a paper cutter, coloring tools (markers, pencils, etc.), and black acrylic paint.
