Class: Textures and Patterns with Copic Markers w/ Cheryl Valadez

Join me Saturday afternoon and I'll show you a few quick and easy techniques for adding texture and pattern to your Copic colored images.  We'll be adding a few more sheets to our Copic Reference Book, focusing on the versatility of 2 strokes...dots and wisps.  We'll also play with our colorless blender.  Between these 3 techniques you'll see a number of ways to create fur, grass, denim, bricks, etc.  Super fun and super easy, plus you'll be able to add dimension and detail to your future Copic coloring projects.  Copics are an investment, but the return is priceless when you learn to use them to their fullest potential.

Class: Tropical Adventure with Sue LaMeer

Class: Mixed Media Pocket Card with Sue Rosenberg

Join Sue R. Saturday morning and you'll create a dual pocket using one of her templates, but the fun doesn't stop there!  You'll continue the creative journey with a travel themed tag and ATC that utilizes collage and mixed media techniques.  These items slip perfectly into the pockets and while each element on its own is fabulous, together the results are astounding!  The finished project can be used in cards or altered books, or, with an added background, can be suitable for framing.  Sue will supply the paper and the embellishments from her travel collection.  Students need to be sure they have scissors and a bone folder in addition to their class kit.

Class: Vintage Halloween with Caroline Lawson

Are you hankering for a couple of Halloween projects?  It's never too early!  Join Caroline Saturday morning and create 2 spirited cards layered with details and sporting pages from the latest Gaphic 45 paper pack.  Caroline unites her carefully pieced collage techniques with a few intricate dies and the results are FABULOUS!  Get a head start on this October celebration!

Class: Pyramid Cards with Caroline Lawson

Join Caroline Saturday afternoon and create two beautiful cards that feature an unusual "stacking" technique.  The images are stamped and stacked in a pyramid layout that showcases the wonderful designs while adding dimension and elegance.  Additional details finish the cards off perfectly and will have the lucky recipient saying "wow"!  This technique would be a fabulous way to add a bit of pizzazz to cards for any occasion.   

July 7th, Saturday:  1:00pm - 4:00pm (class fee $25.00)      

Class: Patriotic Cards with Cheryl Valadez

Join me Saturday afternoon and we'll make a couple of Tim Holtz inspired patriotic cards, getting appropriately inky in the process.  We'll play with some TH images, texture fades, and kraft core papers...heck, I'll even have my Vagabond in tow to round out the TH tools.  These cards have a bit vintage look accompanied by the trademark TH grunge style.  Add a pad of Vintage Photo or Gathered Twigs to your class kit along with a sponge applicator and you're all set.  

June 30th, Saturday:  1:00pm - 4:00pm (class fee $25.00)                                                 

Class: The Never-Ending Card with Caroline Lawson

Join Caroline Friday afternoon and learn her secret behind the never-ending card.  This card folds and refolds, creating new cards with every twist and turn.  Just when you think you've seen them all, turn it over and get a new series of cards.  This is a wonderful project that will confound your friends and dumbfound everyone else.  Please, bing a paper cutter, a score board, and a good adhesive...not a glue stick.  Caroline suggests Glossy Accents; Zip-Dry would work or a small Zyron.

Class: Penny's Little Darlings with Shay Silva

WHEW!  It's hot outside!  How about getting in out of the heat and hanging out with Shay Saturday afternoon to create these sweet paper treats!  These cards feature images by Penny Black and showcase lots of fabulous details and fun embellishments.  You'll color, you'll layer, and best of all you'll smile as you put these sweet designs together :D  Don't hesitate, sign up today!

Two Great Classes and a Trunk Show with Judy Duke!!!

Join Judy Duke this Saturday for a day filled with creativity and fun!  She'll have her exquisite stamp images for sale during the trunk show, but she'll also be teaching 2 incredible classes that are perfect for Father's Day or any other occasion, for that matter.  Here are the details:

Framed Art with Judy Duke   

This is a wonderful depiction of an elk in winter's snow.  In this class you will be making a double shadowbox with a wrap-around cover, using stamping, stippling, masking, and Liquid Applique techniques for snow, and of course lots of stamping to create a 3-D scene, all with our Inkredible Inks.  

June 16th, Saturday:  10:00am - 1:00pm (class fee $35.00)

A Plethora of Cards with Judy Duke

These are fun and easy cards that use masking and stamping with colored pencil and chalk coloring techniques.  You will be able to make 4 to 8 finished cards.  Take both classes for $50.00!  Bring your favorite coloring medium, exact craft knife, cutting mat, and scissors.  All other materials will be provided.
