There are lots of things happening this weekend at the store that you won't want to miss!
Stampers, There are two classes following the convention that take advantage of out-of-town talent AND give you two more shopping opportunities. (You don't have to take a class to visit any of the three trunk shows!)
LOST COAST DESIGNS TRUNK SHOW: March 11: 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM
The only cost is the stamps you purchase!
ATC Dolly: Linda Malcom: Monday, March 11: 10 AM- 4 PM..................................$35.00
Linda loves Albuquerque, New Mexico stampers, and visiting with CP2 customers. To that end, she is offering this class that you can make your own. Come for an hour or two, come for the day! She's bringing the ATC boxes for the body and all sorts of things for the appendages. You'll need your tools and various types of adhesives. If you want your dolly to be the Stitchery Princess (for example), you might bring ephemera related to sewing - get the picture. I hope to see you Monday; there are class spaces available. As you probably know by now, fun follows Linda like a Shadow!
STAMPLAND TRUNK SHOW: Tueday, March 12: 1:00 PM- 4PM
The only cost will be your purchases.
Taping 101: Darlene Gaglione: Tuesday, March 12: 1 PM - 3 PM................................$25.00
Don't miss this class!Darlene and Picasso are the owners of Chicago's Stampland. This is the first time they've come to the Albuquerque Convention and we want them to return! I'd love to send you to their website, but unfortunately it's down with a virus. They have numerous classic images - from beautiful ladies to Catrina.
This is a Techniques Workshop; this is not intended to be a class of making two or three cards - this is to get you thinking and using your stamps and tools in a new way.
Several of you have asked for more info on Mary Jo McGraw's class on Friday. It starts at 10 AM, costs $45.00, and goes to the end of the day or you throw in the towel. You should bring a book to use for an altered book (remember that there are some freebies in the recycle baskets), a journal (she recommends one from Strathmore), your regular class kit, and colored sharpies or Copics if you have them. She's bringing Pan Pastels and plenty of other goodies!
On your visit to CP2, remember to check out the up-coming class samples, especially those on Friday and Saturday, the 15 &16.
THERE ARE STILL CONVENTION TICKETS AVAILABLE!!!!!
