Saturday we'll be playing with brand new, hot of the presses Dia de los Muertos images from Third Coast Rubber Stamps. These elegant catrinas are actually penned by a local artist named Kelly Ganson and mirror the lovely ceramic catrinas popular in Mexico. We'll spend some time coloring these beautiful images with Copics and trimming them out, so be sure you add a pair of super sharp detail scissors to your class kit.
Presently, this class is full. Thank you to everyone who signed up so quickly. I hope you like the samples. If you are interested in taking this class, but didn't snag a spot, please let Nancy know and we will try to schedule a second class.
Here's a list of the Copic colors used in these projects, but I am going to bring additional samples using other colors and let you pick your palette.
Death Catrina - skull and hand (E53, E50), coat and decorative boa on hat (C7, C, C3, C1), dress and long feathers on hat (G99, G94, G82, G40), blouse (E42, E41, E40), hair (E19, E15)
Wedding Muerto - skull and hands (C3, C1, C00), dress and hat (E43, E42, E41, E40, RV32), hair (E19, E15, E13)
September 24th, Saturday: 1:00pm - 4:00pm (This class will probably go long due to the size and the sharing of materials. Class fee $25.00)
